Finished sweater and sock

I’ve finished my daughters sweater. All I need to do now is sew the pocket on it. I’ve also finished the toe up sock I was working on. There were things I liked about it and others I didn’t. First off, I think it would be better to use an oval sock loom for the toe up type, because it was quite a stretch when I was working on the toe, and a more fragile yarn would probably have broken. Although it was nice not to have to transfer the sock to needles and do the kerchief stitch to close the way I do when I do cuff down, but by binding off at the cuff, the cuff wasn’t as stretchy as I like. So for now, I think I’m going to stick to cuff down.

I’ll post a pictures as soon as I sew the pocket on the sweater.

Still Knitting

I’m still knitting. I have finished several wash cloths to send to family, and I’m in the process of knitting my daughter a sweater, so be expecting a picture of that soon.
I also have plans to make some sort of scripture cover for my daughters new scriptures for her birthday.  I can’t make up my mind though what I want to do. Do I want to make one in crochet, plastic canvas, or cloth? I guess we will see when the time comes.
