I didn’t win. :-(

Well, I didn’t win the contest.

The winning name was Wonder Loom. Oh well….. It sure would have been nice to win all that knitting stuff though.

Thank you every body who voted for me. I appreciate you trying to help. It was exciting there for a while thinking I might have a chance.

I hope everybody has a great weekend.

Happy Easter!

Please Help Me Win

I entered a contest a few days ago to name a new type of knitting loom. Well my entry made it to the top 10! If my name is chosen, I’ll win a bunch of cool knitting stuff!

The name I entered is 22 scadoo. I picked that name because you can knit something around 22 inches wide and can easily be adjusted. Please help me win. All you need to do is go to this web sight http://isela.typepad.com/ and vote for 22 scadoo. I would REALLY like to win that knitting stuff. ūüėÄ

A kid waiting for Christmas

I’m sooooo ready for my sock loom to get here. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas.¬† hehe

I also get to go yarn shopping either tonight or tomorrow. yea! I’m going to have a busy crafting weekend.

They Arrived

Well I got a very nice e-mail from the lady who bought my pads. She seemed very happy with the looks of them and is excited to try them out. I’m so glad. That makes me feel good.

I used the money I made from selling the pads to buy a sock knitting loom. I’ve wanted one for a while, but normally I’m very hesitant to spend more than a few dollars on my self, but since this was money I earned sewing, I decided it would be ok to spend it on something I wanted. It was¬†actually my husbands idea that if I earned money selling the things I make, that I¬†could use it for fun stuff for me and the kids. Of course the first thing I’m going to make on the loom is a pare of socks for him. LOL!¬†
